WALKING ACT IN THE RANDSCHELT LOCAL HISTORY MUSEUM
Language: LU
A troupe of jugglers builds a bridge between hygiene and the pandemic then and now. The interdisciplinary walking act through Luxembourg's smallest town offers visitors coronavirus-compliant snacks of dance, theatre and music in collaboration with the Musée Thillenvogtei.
On an evening hike through Rindschleiden, visitors discover quacks, occasional gravediggers and goose maids as well as old customs and measures against epidemics and diseases. Faith and knowledge mingle in the cattle procession and smoking ritual. Morbid songs in the Willibrordus Church remind us of our transience, while an exhibition on the wave of emigration from 1840 onwards sheds light on village life in the past.
