INSTALLATION WITH MUSIC AND DANCE FOR THE YOUNGEST

TRAILER

Language: without

(8 months-3 years)

An amazing world of different ropes opens up to the little spectators: Ropes to connect, cords as curtains, ropes as ladders and swings, ropes to pull together, wires to each other and from each other, cords ensnaring with every fiber, ribbons that connect, pulling strings and letting go of lines.

This world invites the audience to linger, marvel and discover, 3 artists (musicians/dancers or performers) at eye level. They discover this universe together with the young audience and their parents or carers.

From the umbilical cord to the coffin-lowering rope, people have to do with this object, both concretely and semantically it can be found again and again in our lives. People play games jump rope or pull rope, political people join organisations and form rope teams. The rope team, the rope ladder, and the safety net are familiar from sport. Rope dancers are at home in the performing arts, and in music, from the ancient lyre to the modern electric guitar, the sounding of cords is an integral part. The knot in the brain, the Dreamcatcher; lianas, ivy and mangroves; hanging chairs, swings...
