Until You Fall
A choreographic piece for five dancers

Confronted with everyday, social, political, emotional and above all human situations, this choreography takes us through the absurd, the obvious, ignorance and decadence. Its aim is to take the spectator on a journey beyond the fall and ultimately to discover what makes us fall.
Until you fall is inspired by a year-long collaborative research work with amateur and professional dancers, started during a stay at the dance centre ‘Groupo AZ Arte’ in Joinville, Brazil, in 2018.
The project explores different aspects, qualities, intentions, methods and approaches to falling through dance. The experiences and fruits gathered during this research, entitled ‘À l'exploration de la chute’, will be used to support the development and creation of the piece. The project brings together five dancers and performers whose disciplinary diversity will give rise to a nuanced and complementary universe.
