Jean-Lou Caglar, Light design, Stage
Jean-Lou Caglar is a freelance lightning designer and operator for theater, dance and music based in Belgium. Trained as a furniture maker, Jean-Lou began his career in 1992 as a set-builder for the LPT (Limburgs Project Theater, BE). With the LPT he started operating the light and sound and one season he even acted in one of their plays.
While working with different companies such as: De Queeste, Het Vervolg, Het Huis van Bourgondië, Theater Artemis and Jong Hollandia, he became more and more interested in the creative process and started focussing on the lightning design.
Since then he has collaborated with artists and companies in Belgium and across Europe. Credits include: Agora Theater, Traffik Theater, Linda Savelkous, tgMax, kinderenvandevilla,The sedan vault,La muerte, Ela Baumann, Grand Theater Luxemburg, Philharmonie Luxemburg, Gotra Ballet, Zefiro Torna, Jean Bermes, Milla Trausch.
